September 2019 — A traffic officer directs pedestrians at a crosswalk in Times Square, Manhattan. Crowds move past construction barriers and street signage in the busy tourist district, where theaters, billboards, and entertainment venues draw thousands of visitors daily.

October 2019 — Located near the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis, the Target Field light rail station was patrolled by Homeland Security officers on October 10, 2019. The increased presence coincided with a major political rally at the nearby arena, leading to heightened security across the surrounding Warehouse District transit corridor.

October 2019 — Minneapolis police officers in riot gear form a barricade opposite protesters outside the Target Center on October 10, 2019, during then-President Donald Trump’s campaign rally. The tightly organized police line extended along First Avenue, separating demonstrators from event attendees as tensions rose late into the evening. The rally drew thousands of protesters and supporters to downtown Minneapolis, prompting one of the largest coordinated law enforcement deployments in the city that year.

March 2020 — A police officer at Hennepin Avenue after Stay at Home order.

May 2020 — Minneapolis Police clear protesters out from around the third precinct police station using less lethal weapons. Protesters had gathered after the death of George Floyd the night before, this was day 1 of protests.

May 2020 — Protesters around the burning Minneapolis Police third precinct on the evening of May 28th, 2020. Protesters began gathering around the precinct days earlier following the death of George Floyd. Hours earlier, Minneapolis Police vacated the precinct. The third precinct was the home precinct to Derek Chauvin who was ultimately convicted in the murder.

May 2020 — The Minnesota National Guard on Nicollet Mall in Downtown Minneapolis on May 30, 2020, the 4th day of protests in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd.

July 2020 — Minneapolis Park police remove the homeless from their tents at Powderhorn Park in South Minneapolis on July 20th, 2020.

December 2020 — Back The Blue/Stop The Steal rally with counter-protesters near the Governor's Mansion in St. Paul. The counter-protest was after weeks of the Proud Boys joining the Stop The Steal protesters.

December 2020 — State Patrol at a Stop The Steal rally in St. Paul after counter-protesters arrive. The Stop The Steal protesters had been gathering for weeks outside the Minnesota Governor’s mansion.

December 2020 — 17 officers respond to a shooting at George Floyd Square after 2 victims had already been transported to hospitals by the community. Those at the square confronted the officers and offered to walk five of them in to collect shell casings.
