Minneapolis Police mounted patrol officers on Nicollet Mall at night.

Minneapolis Police Mounted Patrol officers on horseback patrol Nicollet Mall at night. This unit is frequently deployed for crowd management and public order during events and protests in the downtown area. Nicollet Mall, a significant pedestrian thoroughfare in Minneapolis, is lined with businesses and cultural institutions. The mounted patrol's presence serves as a visible deterrent and provides mobility in dense urban settings during public gatherings or civil unrest.
