Protestors gathered outside the Brooklyn Center Police Department in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, on April 11, 2021. The demonstration was in response to the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, by Brooklyn Park Police officer Kim Potter during a traffic stop earlier that day. The presence of law enforcement, including the National Guard, highlighted the tense atmosphere. The protest underscored ongoing community concerns regarding police conduct and racial justice.
