This image was taken during protests that erupted following the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright by a police officer in the Minneapolis suburb on April 11, 2021. The protests led to unrest and clashes with law enforcement in the days that followed. The Brooklyn Center Police Department serves a community of approximately 30,000 residents and is responsible for maintaining public safety and order.
