Target Field Station, visible to the east, opened in 2014 as a transit hub serving Northstar Commuter Rail, light rail, and bus routes, along with a public plaza used for Minnesota Twins game-day events. Downtown Minneapolis rises beyond both, its cluster of high-rises anchored by the IDS Center and Wells Fargo Center towers.
