Target Field Station in Minneapolis's North Loop is a multimodal transit hub next to Target Field, home of Major League Baseball's Minnesota Twins. Opened in 2014, the station consolidates the METRO Blue and Green light rail lines, Northstar Commuter Rail, and Metro Transit bus connections in one facility. The illuminated station canopy appears between the historic Ford Center building and newer office development, placing the transit complex within one of the warehouse district blocks reshaped around the ballpark and rail corridor.
