Powderhorn Park, on Minneapolis's south side, was a gathering point for marches following the November 2020 presidential election. Marchers moved from the park through nearby streets, with signs and patches expressing opposition to Donald Trump, including imagery comparing him to Adolf Hitler. The neighborhood had already served as a staging ground for demonstrations earlier that year following the killing of George Floyd, making it a familiar assembly point for organizers by the time of the election.
