Demonstrators walked from Holmes Park to Mayor Jacob Frey's residence, calling on the city to address rising homelessness rather than respond only after problems escalate. The route passed Old Town Saloon on Hennepin Avenue, a longtime bar in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood.
