Designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee and completed in 1972, the 792-foot tower remains the tallest building in Minnesota. The dark mechanical crown houses HVAC systems and broadcast transmitters, while the curtain wall’s reflective glass panels catch the last warm tones of sunset alongside the adjacent RBC Gateway Tower.
