US Bank Stadium Construction, Downtown Minneapolis

US Bank Stadium going up in Downtown Minneapolis
Construction of U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis is shown during its development phase. The stadium, which broke ground in 2014 and opened in 2016, was built to replace the Metrodome and serve as the home for the Minnesota Vikings. Its construction represented a significant development project for the Downtown East neighborhood. The structure features a distinctive translucent roof and a complex steel framework designed to withstand Minnesota's climate.
