Downtown Minneapolis rises along the Mississippi River, with the IDS Center, at 792 feet the tallest building in Minnesota, among its towers. The nearby Wells Fargo Center was built as the Norwest Center in 1988. Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins since 2010, sits beyond downtown to the east.
