Gold Medal Flour, Stone Arch Bridge, Minneapolis, March 2020
The Stone Arch Bridge and the downtown Minneapolis riverfront are seen at night along the Mississippi River in March 2020. At left, the illuminated Gold Medal Flour sign marks the former Washburn-Crosby mill complex, a remnant of the city’s prominence in the flour milling industry. Built in 1883 for the St. Paul, Minneapolis and Manitoba Railway, the stone bridge now functions as a pedestrian and bicycle crossing connecting the riverfront and St. Anthony Main areas.
