The George Floyd Square Memorial Garden in Minneapolis is a space dedicated to the memory of George Floyd, who died in police custody in May 2020. The square, located at the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, became a focal point for protests against racial injustice and police brutality following Floyd's murder. This memorial garden, with its central sculpture and surrounding floral tributes, serves as a place of remembrance, reflection, and ongoing community engagement. It represents the community's efforts to transform a site of tragedy into a space of healing and activism.
