“We Stand Together” Mural at Target on Lake Street

Juxtaposition Arts, a Minneapolis youth-focused art and design nonprofit based in North Minneapolis, created the mural covering the Target store's exterior wall on Lake Street. The panel reads "We Stand Together, We Build Together," spanning the length of the building in a series of connected murals. This Target location sits near the site of the Minneapolis Police Third Precinct, which was damaged during the unrest following George Floyd's death in May 2020. The store itself sustained damage in the same period and later reopened with the mural installed along its street-facing wall.
