Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station is an underground stop on the Kyoto City Subway Tozai Line, located near the Kyoto City Hall in central Kyoto. The station provides access to city government offices and connects riders traveling east toward Rokujizo and Misasagi and west toward Nijojo-mae and Uzumasa Tenjingawa. The Tozai Line, opened in 1997, runs across the city on an east-west axis and links with the Karasuma Line at Karasuma Oike Station.
