Minneapolis police officers take cover behind a squad SUV outside the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown Minneapolis early on June 14, 2020. One officer points a rifle toward broken hotel windows as police respond to reports of a fire at the building. The hotel had been occupied by squatters in the weeks after the murder of George Floyd, and visible damage to the entrance and windows reflects the unrest affecting the property at that time.
