A protester raises a Black Lives Matter flag at George Floyd Square, the intersection of East 38th Street and Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The photograph was made on June 4, 2020, days after George Floyd was killed by Minneapolis police at this corner on May 25. People gather around the street memorial and protest site, where flowers, signs, and tributes filled the intersection during sustained calls for racial justice and police accountability.
