Haiwatha Metro Transit Light Rail bridge
The Metro Transit light rail bridge spans over Haiwatha Avenue and the Midtown Greenway, connecting downtown Minneapolis to other parts of the city. In the background, the historic Depot water tower stands alongside the Minneapolis skyline. This infrastructure serves as a vital public transportation link, with the Blue Line light rail having commenced service in 2004. The Midtown Greenway, a former railway corridor, now provides a multi-use trail beneath the bridge.
