Empty shelving at Cub Foods temporary market, Minneapolis

Empty shelving inside a temporary grocery store
Empty shelving stands ready in a temporary "Community Market" in Minneapolis. This structure was established to serve residents while the permanent Cub Foods store, located nearby, undergoes repairs. The original Cub Foods store sustained damage in the aftermath of the protests and civil unrest that followed the May 25, 2020 death of George Floyd. The temporary market ensures continued access to groceries and essential goods for the community during the rebuilding period.
