A memorial for Calvin Horton Jr. stands outside Cadillac Pawn on Lake Street in Minneapolis. Horton Jr. was shot and killed on May 27, 2020, during the civil unrest that followed the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The memorial features posters bearing Horton Jr.'s image and calls for justice, affixed to the plywood boards protecting the storefront, alongside flowers and candles placed on the sidewalk. This site became a focal point for community remembrance and a symbol of the broader calls for justice during a period of significant social upheaval in the city.
