A temporary Ferris wheel installed in downtown Minneapolis near Nicollet Mall operates during preparations for the 2019 NCAA Men’s Final Four. The attraction was part of the tournament’s public event infrastructure in the city center in early April 2019, when Minneapolis hosted national championship weekend activities. Office towers, skyways, and street-level development around the wheel place it within the commercial core where fan events and related programming were concentrated.
