A temporary Ferris wheel stands on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis during the 2019 NCAA Final Four festivities. The installation was part of the entertainment and fan programming organized as Minneapolis hosted the national semifinal and championship weekend in early April 2019. Set within the Nicollet corridor among office and retail buildings, the ride marked the mall’s use as an event space during one of the city’s largest annual sports-related gatherings.
