A temporary Ferris wheel stands on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis during the 2019 NCAA Men’s Final Four. The ride was installed as part of the Tip-Off Tailgate, a fan festival staged along the transit mall in the days surrounding the championship games at U.S. Bank Stadium. Visible in the surrounding skyline are central downtown landmarks including the illuminated WCCO sign and the art deco Foshay Tower, placing the attraction within Minneapolis’s main business district.
