The Uptown Theater at Hennepin Avenue and Lagoon Avenue in Uptown Minneapolis shows shattered glass in its entrance doors and neighboring storefront windows on June 21, 2020. The theater, a Minneapolis landmark that opened in 1916, stands behind a marquee reading “GO HOME GO.” The damage occurred during the period of unrest in Minneapolis following the killing of George Floyd.
