The fire-damaged interior of Minnehaha Liquors on East Lake Street in Minneapolis is shown in June 2020, with collapsed roof beams, twisted shelving, and burned merchandise filling the gutted store. The liquor store was destroyed during the unrest that followed the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. Located across from the Minneapolis Police Third Precinct, the building was one of many businesses on the Lake Street corridor that suffered extensive fire damage.
