May 2020 — Minneapolis Fire Department works on putting out fires on the corner of East Lake Street and Minnehaha Avenue. The AutoZone on the corner was the first fire lit during the uprising.

May 2020 — The Autozone across from the third precinct on fire. The retail store was the first substantial fire.

May 2020 — The AutoZone store across from the Minneapolis Police 3rd Precinct burning on the 2nd day of protests in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd. The AutoZone was the first building to be lit on fire during the George Floyd protests.

June 2020 — Rubble from the AutoZone store on E. Lake Street. The store was the first to burn during unrest over the murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis Police.

July 2020 — The intersection of Lake and Minnehaha. The corner was home to AutoZone, Minnehaha Liquors and the Minneapolis police third precinct police station. All the buildings were burned in May 2020.

July 2020 — Graffiti on the Hennepin County Medical Examiner building near downtown Minneapolis. Graffiti reads “Abolish the police” and “AutoZone them again” (referring to the burning of the AutoZone building that was the first building burned during 2020 riots).

July 2020 — All that remains of the AutoZone store on East Lake Street. It was the first building to burn in Minneapolis during the unrest over the May 25th death of George Floyd.

August 2020 — The Martin Olav Sabo bridge over Haiwatha Ave with "Autozone the police" written on it. AutoZone was the first building burned following the May 25th, 2020 death of George Floyd.

January 2021 — While the Autozone on East Lake was the first building to burn during unrest, the Autozone on W. Lake is the first building to be completely rebuilt.

March 2021 — The Minneapolis police third precinct, Autozone, and Target on East Lake St on March 27, 2021.

March 2021 — Autozone, Wendy's and Ever Lake apartments on March 27, 2021 being rebuilt after being destroyed in riots over the murder of George Floyd.

May 2021 — A "now hiring" sign up at the AutoZone that's being rebuilt. The AutoZone was the first store to be lit on fire during the 2020 Minneapolis uprising.

October 2021 — AutoZone on East Lake St open for business after being the first building to burn during the Minneapolis Uprising.

May 2022 — Graffiti on a bus shelter across from the Minneapolis police third precinct on the 2nd anniversary of the Minneapolis police station being burned following the murder of George Floyd.
