The burned remains of the AutoZone store on East Lake Street in Minneapolis fill the frame, with a damaged Metro Transit sign lying across the rubble in the foreground. The store was among the first buildings destroyed during the unrest that followed the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police in May 2020. East Lake Street, a major commercial corridor in south Minneapolis, sustained widespread fire damage and business losses during that period. Store signs for Aldi and Walgreens are visible in the background beyond the debris.
