A sign at George Floyd Square, also known as The People's Way, in Minneapolis displays a message demanding justice for Daunte Wright. The sign reads, "READ THE DEMANDS! JUSTICE FOR DAUNTE WRIGHT!" This message reflects the ongoing calls for police reform and accountability that gained prominence following Wright's death in April 2021. George Floyd Square became a significant site of protest and community organizing following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020, and it continued to serve as a focal point for activism.
