Times Square sits at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan, a plaza known for its large electronic billboards and heavy pedestrian traffic. The US Armed Forces Recruiting Station has stood at the square's south end since 1946. Yellow taxis fill the street past Broadway advertisers including Ernst & Young and Reuters in May 2005.
