Minneapolis police hold religious ceromony 1 year after Floyds death
Minneapolis Police officers gather at the Third Precinct on May 28, 2021, the one-year anniversary of the precinct's burning during protests following the murder of George Floyd. The Minneapolis Police Department declared the Third Precinct compromised and evacuated it on the night of May 28, 2020. The precinct was subsequently set ablaze by protesters. This gathering marks a year since the precinct was rendered inoperable and subsequently rebuilt.

Police officers gather at the Third Precinct on the 1 year anniversary of the burning of the precinct. The Minneapolis Police announced over the radio the precinct had been compromised at 10:14pm on May 28th, 2020.
