A "Guard on Duty 24-Hour Video Security" and "Warning Guard Dogs on Premises" sign is affixed to a chain-link fence at the former Brach's Candy Factory site in Chicago. The factory, once a major employer and landmark, was closed in 2003 and subsequently demolished. The site is now a parking lot, but security measures like this sign indicate ongoing efforts to protect the property.
