George Floyd Square, Cup Foods, Flowers after Summer Rain

George Floyd Square at Chicago Avenue and East 38th Street in Minneapolis is pictured outside Cup Foods on June 23, 2020. Flowers and memorial offerings cover the wet street after rain near the storefront where George Floyd was killed by Minneapolis police a month earlier. A large mural on the building and handwritten signs mark the site as a place of mourning, remembrance, and protest.
