Federal agents from BORTAC, a tactical unit of the U.S. Border Patrol, were present in Minneapolis on January 12, 2026. On Park Avenue at 35th Street, agents reportedly rammed a vehicle and demanded identification from a Latino man, who stated he was released upon proving his U.S. citizenship. The incident occurred near the location where ICE agents had fatally shot Renee Good just days earlier, on January 7, 2026.
