Federal agents, identified as part of Operation Metro Surge, were present at Park Avenue and 35th Street in Minneapolis on January 12, 2026. On this date, agents reportedly rammed a vehicle and demanded identification from a Latino man, who stated he was released after proving his U.S. citizenship. The incident occurred two blocks from where Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents had shot and killed Renee Good on January 7, 2026.
