Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church: Dismantling Racism

Dismantling Racism on a church sign in Minneapolis
Dismantling Racism on a church sign in Minneapolis.

Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, a long-standing institution in Minneapolis, displays a sign promoting a "Dismantling Racism" sermon series. This initiative reflects the church's commitment to social justice, particularly in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement and the Minneapolis Uprising. Located on Hennepin Avenue near Downtown, the church serves as a community hub. The presence of both the American and Pride flags on its grounds further underscores its inclusive mission and engagement with contemporary social issues.
