Lake Street USPS Station Construction Site, Minneapolis
Construction is underway at the Lake Street Station USPS post office in Minneapolis, following its destruction by fire during the civil unrest of May 2020. The unrest occurred in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis Police. The rebuilding of this vital community service facility signifies a step towards recovery for the neighborhood.
