The People’s Way screening at George Floyd Square

A screening of the documentary "The People’s Way" was held at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis as part of the "Rise and Remember" festival. The square, formerly known as the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, became a focal point for protests following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The festival and film screening honor the ongoing legacy of activism and community resilience at this significant site. The shirt worn by one attendee reads "WE WILL HEAL US. GEORGE FLOYD SQUARE," reflecting the community's ongoing efforts toward healing and remembrance.
