CBGB OMFUG at 315 Bowery in Manhattan was a longtime New York music club closely associated with punk and new wave. Opened in 1973, the venue hosted early performances by bands including the Ramones, Blondie, and Talking Heads. It closed in 2006 after a prolonged rent dispute with its landlord.
