Ambulances at Minneapolis School Shooting
Emergency vehicles, including ambulances and Minneapolis Park Police, are lined up on Garfield Avenue near Annunciation Catholic School on August 27, 2025. The response followed a mass shooting at the school that resulted in the deaths of two children and injuries to seventeen others, fourteen of whom were children. Annunciation Catholic School, established in 1925, serves students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and is part of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The incident marked a tragic event in the school's history and the broader community of South Minneapolis.
