Graffiti on Hennepin Ave McDonald’s During Protests
Graffiti reading "IF YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO DIE FOR IT TAKE THE WORD FREEDOM OUT YOUR VOCABULARY" is spray-painted on the side of a McDonald's on Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis. This message appeared during protests following the deaths of Winston Smith and Deona Marie. Smith was killed by officers serving a warrant, and Marie was killed by a driver who intentionally struck protesters demonstrating against Smith's death. The graffiti reflects the intense emotions and political discourse surrounding these events in the Uptown Minneapolis area.
