Protest sign at site of new police station, no pig farm
A protest sign reading "NO PIG FARM" is displayed at 2633 Minnehaha Avenue in Minneapolis. This location is slated to become a new "Community Safety Center," a replacement for the Minneapolis Police Department's 3rd Precinct, which was destroyed in the unrest following George Floyd's murder in 2020. The City Council approved the new site in November 2023, approximately three years after the original precinct building was burned.
