Sun Dog Over George Floyd Square Memorial, Minneapolis

A sun dog, an atmospheric optical phenomenon, is visible above George Floyd Square in Minneapolis. This intersection became a focal point for protests and activism following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The memorial at the square serves as a space for remembrance, community gathering, and continued calls for racial justice. The "Where There's People There's Power" mural on the nearby gas station reflects the spirit of the ongoing movement.
