“I’ll Be Back” on the Stone Arch Cinema Marquee in St. Anthony Main

Stone Arch Cinema operates at 117 SE Main Street in Minneapolis's St. Anthony Main district, along the east bank of the Mississippi River near the historic Stone Arch Bridge. The marquee's message — "I'll Be Back, Hasta La Vista, Baby" — quotes Arnold Schwarzenegger's line from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day." Theaters across Minnesota closed to in-person moviegoing in 2020 under statewide COVID-19 restrictions, and many independent cinemas used their marquees to post messages to passersby during the shutdown.
