Choir and Orchestra Performance, Rise and Remember Festival, Minneapolis

The "Rise and Remember" festival was held at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis, a site of significant public mourning and protest following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The square, formerly known as the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, became a focal point for demonstrations against racial injustice and police brutality. This festival, featuring a choir and orchestra, served as a cultural event to commemorate Floyd and address ongoing issues of systemic inequality. It brought together community members and artists to reflect on the past and advocate for future change.
