Choir and Orchestra at George Floyd Square, Minneapolis

A choir and orchestra perform at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis during the "Rise and Remember" festival. The square, formerly known as the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, became a focal point for protests and activism following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The "Rise and Remember" festival was organized to commemorate the events of the uprising and to foster community healing and remembrance. The performance reflects the ongoing cultural and social significance of the space as a site of both protest and community gathering.
