Protesters at Minnesota Governor's Mansion on January 6th
Protesters gathered outside the Minnesota Governor's Residence in St. Paul on January 6, 2021, the same day a mob attacked the U.S. Capitol. The "Stop the Steal" movement, which falsely claimed widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election, organized protests across the country. Minnesota State Patrol officers are visible, and Governor Tim Walz later stated that his son was removed from the residence due to safety concerns amid the protest.
