Graffiti reading “FLOYD” covers the tiled wall beneath the Hiawatha Avenue overpass near Lake Street in Minneapolis as a pedestrian walks past on the night of May 27, 2020. Additional messages including “RIP GF” and other anti-police graffiti surround the large tag. The markings appeared in the area during the protests and unrest that followed the killing of George Floyd.
