The Everlake Apartments construction site in Minneapolis burns during the early hours of May 28, 2020. The six-story housing development, still under construction, was heavily damaged as fire moved through the wood-frame structure. The blaze occurred during protests in the city following the police killing of George Floyd, with flames, smoke, and debris filling the street around the site.
