Minneapolis residents voiced opposition to a proposed new police precinct during a community meeting at the Midtown Exchange. The meeting, intended to gather feedback from non-business owners on potential locations for the precinct, saw attendees express concerns and questions prior to breaking into discussion groups. The protest sign held by a resident clearly states, "WE DO NOT WANT YOUR PRECINCT HERE! NOR THERE! WE DO NOT WANT IT ANYWHERE!" This event reflects ongoing community discussions and tensions surrounding policing in Minneapolis.
