The Say Their Names Cemetery is a memorial located in South Minneapolis, near George Floyd Square. Established in the wake of the murder of George Floyd in 2020, it serves as a tribute to victims of racial injustice and police brutality. The memorial features rows of white markers, each representing a life lost, and the words "SAY THEIR NAMES" are prominently displayed. This site became a focal point for remembrance and activism during the Minneapolis Uprising and continues to be a place for reflection and community engagement.
